To give you a little bit more context for available work, we’ve mapped out the trends for queue volumes and drops from September 2016 through March 2017.
Monthly Queue and Drop Trends
The following infogram is meant to focus largely on the last 3 months. However, to fill in some of the gaps, we’ve also included overall trends for 2016, as well as more specific data for the last 6 months.
Note: Keep in mind that these trends are not reflective of the overall health of the products, WritersDomain, or our parent company. Exact drop numbers vary based on billing cycles, client onboarding and turnover, partner changes, and reallocation of client orders.
Unfortunately, we can’t offer exact times for the drops because they do vary somewhat unpredictably. Work is sent out automatically by the system, and the drop times are set to accommodate monthly and daily ordering cycles on our local business time. Drop times are typically consistent within an hour, but it is not unusual for times to deviate slightly depending on how many requests are put through the system. The first of the month is particularly busy, which slows the system operations down and can delay the drop times.
Additionally, new orders that are made for recently acquired clients are pushed through immediately, so smaller, random drops may be seen at different times of the month.
The approximate drop times keyed in the system should land around the following hours:
March – November (Daylight Savings Time)
3–4 AM MT
5–6 PM MT
2–3 AM MT
4–5 PM MT
The system is set on UTC/GMT. The times listed above are adjusted for our local business time zone. Depending on your location, drop times could vary.
We will continue to update you with more statistics and numbers as we’re able. If you have questions about this data, share in the comments below or reach out to us at [email protected]
