Shirley was born in British Columbia, Canada but grew up mainly in Eagle Mountain, UT. If you ask Shirley what her weekend plans are, she’ll most likely answer that she’s going to explore a national park. She’s an adventurer. She doesn’t have just a bucket list. She has an adventure bucket list. We think that’s pretty cool.
We love having Shirley on our team. She’s kind to all, and she’s a superb editor and consistently puts out top-notch work. Every team needs a hardworking explorer like Shirley.
Facts About Shirley
Do you consider yourself an extrovert or introvert?
Definitely an introvert!
What is your spirit animal?
Maybe a koala bear because they just eat and nap all day.
If you could choose your last meal, what would it be?
I don’t think I’d have much of an appetite if I knew it was my last meal, but I suppose burgers, fries, and ice cream alway cheers me up.
What band/musical artist could you listen to for hours straight?
Parkway Drive! Ever since they released their latest album, Ire, I don’t think I’ve let a week go by without listening to it for hours on repeat. My roommates probably hate me, haha.
What is your favorite (or one of your favorite) fandom(s)?
Hmmm, does having multiple Beartooth band shirts count as a fandom?
What is the nicest thing anyone’s done for you?
I would have to say my mom raising me was probably the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. My mom is pretty great. 🙂
What is the next item you plan to cross off your bucket list?
I’m going to Capitol Reef for the first time this weekend. It has been on my adventure bucket list for over a year now, but other parks and peaks have been stealing the limelight.
Who is your favorite Beatle?
Meh. I don’t really have one. Everyone knows the Beatles are enormously talented, but I feel like their lack of breakdowns, death screaming, and sick guitar riffs kind of holds them back.
What’s your favorite Disney Movie?
I would definitely have to say Lion King. It was my favorite movie growing up.
