If you have always wished that Hogwarts had sent you a letter, this is your chance to make your mark on the Harry Potter universe. In honor of Harry Potter’s birthday (July 31), we’re excited to announce that we’ll host a Harry Potter fanfiction contest for the month of July!
Write us a quick story within the Harry Potter universe using either existing characters or characters you’ve created. The WritersDomain team is very excited to see your submissions!

Final Submission Due Date
You must submit your story to the form below by 8 a.m. MST on Monday, July 23.
Word Count Limit
Submit only one-shot stories. Your story can be up to 3,000 words. We will disqualify stories that go over the word limit, so keep it snappy.
Announcement of Winners
We will announce contest winners on the blog on July 30.
