Read the Winning Limericks…

“Poet’s March” by Hannah Whiteoak

She’s as mad as a boxing March hare.
In the street she talks to the air.
She composes her rhymes
While waiting in lines.
But she’s published, so let people stare.

“All Natural” by Emily Truesdell

There once was a hippie named Xander
Who cared for spring flowers at his manor
He ate one, you see
Then fell to his knee
For the flower, it was Oleander

“A Slight Glitch . . . ” by Michelle Gordon

Lyn twirls the baton every March,
As she leads the parade through the arch,
But there’s cause for alarm
‘Coz she can’t raise her arm:
The drycleaners used too much starch.
